Pre-press Preparation
Basic Preparation: Confirm the material and shape of the substrate; prepare the design pattern, printing machine, and auxiliary equipment.
File Processing: Convert the pattern into a vector file, adjust its position according to the print dimensions, and export it as separated monochrome files suitable for subsequent screen making.
Screen Making Process
Select a screen mesh with the appropriate mesh count (120+ mesh for fine printing; 50–100 mesh for high-viscosity inks) and secure it to the frame.
Clean and degrease the mesh, apply a uniform layer of photo-emulsion, and dry thoroughly.
Expose and develop the screen using the prepared monochrome pattern; after drying, touch up and seal the screen to ensure the image areas are completely open and unobstructed.
Ink Mixing Operation
Precisely mix the two-component silicone ink at a ratio of 10:1 (base agent to curing agent); thinner may be added to adjust viscosity.
Stir thoroughly and vacuum-degas to remove air bubbles; perform a test print to verify that color and viscosity meet requirements. The mixture must be used within its pot life of 2–8 hours.
