Key Process Types
Screen Printing:The most common method; it utilizes the ink-permeable nature of the patterned areas on a screen mesh. A squeegee transfers silicone ink onto the substrate, making it suitable for flat or regularly curved workpieces.
Pad Printing:Uses a silicone pad to transfer ink from an etched steel plate; ideal for irregular surfaces and small, three-dimensional objects-such as toys or product logos.
Curing Processes: Categorized into two types: natural curing for single-component silicone (requires no heat, preventing damage to the substrate) and heat curing for two-component silicone (offers controllable processing and greater stability in the finished product).
